Caving in the Brecon Beacons is one of our most popular activities and it is easy to see why! The world underneath the Brecon Beacons is fascinating and mesmerising. The common misconception with Caving is that it is all tight spaces and squeezes, but on most of our Caving trips these features are optional. Here are a few reasons why we think Caving is one of the best activities to choose from:

  1. It is the perfect activity no matter the time of year, the temperature underground is just 11 degrees 365 days of the year.
  2. The Brecon Beacons National Park is home to some of the most important and exciting Caves in Europe.
  3. The caves are full of exciting features. Like stalactites (they hang from the ceiling) and stalagmites (they rise up from the ground).
